Kitchen remodeling, cabinets & countertops in River Ridge
New kitchens, bathrooms, cabinets and stone countertops for River Ridge homes, from our showroom in neighboring Kenner.
Remodeling for River Ridge homes
River Ridge runs along Jefferson Highway between Harahan and Kenner, and Kenner borders it on the northwest. That makes River Ridge one of Kenner’s neighbors, and one of ours: our showroom is at 2513 Florida Ave.
Most of River Ridge was built after World War II, so plenty of houses here have been standing for decades. When yours is ready for a new kitchen or bath, start at the showroom: compare over 70 cabinet styles and our countertop displays in person, then we measure the space and give you a free estimate.
Around River Ridge
River Ridge stretches about 3 miles along Jefferson Highway, Louisiana Highway 48, with Harahan to the east, Kenner to the northwest, Metairie to the north and the Mississippi River to the southwest. Like Metairie, it is unincorporated: part of Jefferson Parish rather than a city of its own.
The main streets still follow the long, narrow French land lots that once ran back from the river. Sauve Road carries the Sauvé family name, and it was on Sauvé land in 1849 that the river levee failed in the flood known as Sauvé’s Crevasse, which reached parts of New Orleans. For years the post office called the area Little Farms, which is where Little Farms Avenue and Little Farms Park get their names. The River Ridge Branch Library is at 8825 Jefferson Hwy, and the Upstream Shopping Center is at 9301 Jefferson Hwy.
Permits for River Ridge projects
River Ridge has no city government of its own. It is part of unincorporated Jefferson Parish, so building permits for a River Ridge home come from Jefferson Parish Building Permits. The department’s East Bank office is at 1221 Elmwood Park Blvd, Suite 101, in Jefferson. Not sure your project needs a permit? Ask the parish office before work starts, and let us know what they say so the schedule accounts for it.

What homeowners say on Google
I am a commercial and residential contractor. I first started using Kenner Cabinets a short time after Hurricane Katrina. At that time Kenneth Hui owned the company. He was an attention to detail guy. I was impressed right away with his Perfectionism and professionalism. Soon after that Jason became his protege and took the company to another level after Kenneth retired. Jason has moved this company tirelessly to establish his now owned company, offering more products without losing any of the professionalism this company has always maintained. Jason has always gone above and beyond. I continue to use Kenner Cabinets because of Jason’s professionalism, hard work, and dedication to his craft.
Thank you, Kenner Cabinet & Stone LLC + Renovations, for the excellent work! The team was prompt, professional, and offered a great price. After a water pipe burst in our attic and damaged our kitchen in the Lakeview area of New Orleans, they put everything back together beautifully. Our kitchen remodel exceeded our expectations, and the craftsmanship and attention to detail were outstanding. The crew was courteous, worked efficiently, and made the entire process as stress-free as possible. I highly recommend Kenner Cabinet & Stone LLC + Renovations to anyone looking for quality remodeling work. Thank you again for giving us our kitchen back!
After remodeling our out dated home we decided to go with Kenner Cabinets and we are very happy with our decision. Jason worked super hard and delivered a beautiful kitchen that we’re so in love with. I’m so excited to finally move back in and enjoy our brand new kitchen. Their cabinets are all real wood, high quality and perfectly priced, which made the decision even easier for us. Working with Jason was truly an awesome experience. He answered all of our questions and was always quick to respond. Choosing Kenner Cabinets was definitely the right choice for our family. Thank you Kenner Cabinet and stone! Highly recommended
Jason was Great to us, Showed up when called, went over lay out with us, discussed his expertise in the cabinet world. gave us alot of good points and came up with a Game Plan and was executed Perfectly Shout out to Jason & Marshall. Great Job Fellas.
Jason is very professional and experienced when it comes to kitchen cabinets and marble. He came out and quickly gave me an estimate on what it would cost to get my kitchen remodeled. His crew was very professional and tedious when installing my new cabinets and marble. If your looking for a brand new kitchen his company is the way to go. Their show room is unbelievable as well. Thank you Jason and your team for the great work. Will definitely be recommending you to all my friends and family.
